The Vernacciashire sensory trail has been inaugurated
The sensory trail has been inaugurated, offering an experience immersed in the vineyards and woods. It is part of our wine tourism program, designed to showcase our region and our unique wines. The trail begins at our Locanda Col DiVino, a house of flavors, and heads toward the Vernaccia Nera vineyards, before entering the woods. Here, a first sensory test begins: barefoot, you first walk a section with our river stones, followed by a section on the cork used in wine bottling, then on Vernaccia Nera pomace, then on the undergrowth, and finally on the river stones again. This section serves to activate all our senses before moving on to the second section, where at five stations, you must identify by smell the aromas emanating from the containers. The five olfactory tastings are found in the Collequanto and Robbione wines, both Serrapetrona DOC. The tour ends at the Locanda, where you can enjoy wines paired with Chef Donatella’s dishes.
